How we lower our footprint

Upcycled at the source

We upcycle grass-fed beef tallow from local butchers—giving a valuable by-product a second life instead of letting it go to waste.

Small-batch scheduling

We manufacture in tight production runs based on real demand. That means fresher product, fewer idle units, and less ingredient spoilage.

Heat-efficient processing

Controlled heat windows and insulated vessels minimize energy use while protecting heat-sensitive actives.

Stability & safety checks

Every batch targets a defined pH and texture and is observed under accelerated conditions to spot early stability issues. We follow GMP practices and file CNFs with Health Canada.

Ingredient standards

Short ingredient lists with modern actives. We avoid unnecessary additives and select globally accepted preservatives for safety and stability—nothing extra, nothing performative.

Measured, not marketed

We track batch yields, remake rates, and scrap so we can keep improving—and we’ll share progress as we grow.

Common Questions

Is upcycled tallow actually sustainable?

Yes, upcycling prevents a significant amount of waste from being sent to landfills, where it would produce harmful methane gas as it decomposes. By utilizing a material that would otherwise be discarded, it supports a circular economy. A more eco-friendly choice than many mass-produced, chemically-extracted oils.

Are your products vegan?

No. We’re transparent about animal-derived content and focus on respectful upcycling and efficacy.

Do you use palm-derived materials?

We avoid them where possible and assess any inclusion against function, sourcing, and footprint.
